Dear Candace, I hope you're jealous.

My roommates are ideal homemakers.
Including Candace even though she was off getting ready for marriage instead of home cooking with us.

Sunday afternoon they blew my mind with their skills in the kitchen.
Let's start out by introducing the cooks.
Hilary.
Too appropriate that she's sitting under a picture of Jesus.
Why? Because she is incredibly Christlike.
You can taste it in her cooking.

Now to introduce the main chef.
Ashley.
She is so skilled en la cocina that she even has her own show.
Usually it airs on Sunday afternoons in our kitchen.
I'll get a video someday.

Are you wondering just how skilled Ashley is at this point?
I would be too if I didn't already know.
Here is a sampler:
Jell-o
Did I even know that sucha a beautiful food creation was possible before she pulled it out of the fridge?
Of course I didn't.

She also did an excellent job setting the table.
And even gave the other Ashley a tutorial on how to do it correctly.
That big delicious casserole is chicken cordon blue casserole.
Or something similar to that title.
Hilary & Ashley did a most excellent job preparing it.

Now I'll bet you're wondering what I contributed to the meal.
Conveniently I took a picture.
Let me show you.
Asparagus Stir Fry
Looks like I may have a bit of wife potential in me as well.

My mom did teach me that a sign of a good meal is a lot of different colors on your plate...
This meal passed with flying colors. Literally.
Ahaha, bad joke.

  1. Rainbow Jello! My absolute favorite! My mom used to make it all the time when I was little and then I've made it once with a friend since! AMAZING!
