Three days in and I've finally figured out this month's blog theme.
FOOD
My new month resolution for March is to not eat sweets.
Yeah, I'm struggling already.
But it will be okay.
Yesterday, I tried an avocado shake.
Delicious.
Yes, it broke my new month resolution, but what was I supposed to do when a cup had already been poured for me. It would have been offensive not to try it.
Anyways.
Here are the ingredients.
ice cubes, milk, avocados, ice cream, sugar
Now onto today and the real reason I was inspired to blog about food.
I had a beautiful creation for lunch.
I'll walk you through how it happened.
Get home from school.
Look in my pantry.
Nothing looks good.
Decide on a can of chili because of the minimal effort required.
Pour chili into a microwave safe tupperware.
Microwave it.
Approximately 4 minutes later, done.
(I say approximately because we have a ghetto microwave that has a turn dial for a timer so I really never know what the time is set for. Surprisingly I've never burned anything. Timers are obviously an unnecessary luxury when it comes to gourmet microwave cooking.)
Usually I put cheese in my chili at this point, but the grated stuff that I found in the fridge was moldy.
Gross, trashed that right away.
At this point I faced quite the predicament.
Of course I don't want to eat plain chili.
But what could I add?
GOLDFISH!!!
Yum.
And that is how my lunch of chili con carne y goldfish came to be.
I'm off candy this month. I've had a headache for three days straight. Withdrawals...
