goodbye july

well summer sure is flying by

i've had to find new ways to spend my time rather than blogging lately

1. because carrying my computer to school for the internet is a nuisance

2. because my camera broke and blogs aren't as fun without pictures

my friend laura corry took this picture though

and she wrote this blog about our sailing excursion

i've been going on all sorts of adventures this week

earning new merit badges every day

(no, i'm not a boy scout but that doesn't mean i shouldn't be able to develop new skills)

i've also watched the entire fifth season of Saved By The Bell

 

i can't get enough of their acid wash jeans, puffy sleeves, and lack of plot

what a life they live at bayside high

next up for tv series i'm going to revisit my old favorite,

Veronica Mars

 

she's like a modern day nancy drew

other than that i've mostly just been laying in my room because my whole house is a construction zone and it makes me want to cry.

i have had this giant hole in the kitchen wall to the outside for 3 weeks now

with just a tarp over it

as if that is going to keep spiders, earwigs, and other bugs out

...it doesn't

and heaven help me if i ever catch a mouse/rat/feline sneaking in!

i'll be okay, some people don't even have a place to live

anyways, that's my july.
