This year I have a new favorite Christmas quote...
I'm pretty sure it's all about the star.
Of all the symbols that have to do with Christmas, the star is the most magical.
Endless analogies.
At the end of my last post I mentioned the reenactment of Christ's birth I experienced.
Well I failed to mention that it began with a shepherd running in announcing:
"THE SAVIOR IS BORN! COME FOLLOW THE STAR!"
So all 100+ of us marched across the farm fields to the stable following an incredibly bright star in the sky.
It was beautiful. What a beautiful way to guide people to the Savior, with light.
Everything about Christmas can be inspiring.
Christmas lights are the best.
(I even loved the commercial Christmas lights last year in Hong Kong.)
This year I got to coordinate the tree decorating in my house.
Every ornament that went on the tree had to be approved by me.
Am I super pleased with the final product? Yes.
It pays off having to hate our tree decorations every year my whole life to be able to love them this year.
I went with a white & gold theme. Mostly angels & stars.
