Everyone has that awkward person in their life that runs in the same crowd as them, shares a bunch of mutual friends, and pops up everywhere they go, yet they've never actually acknowledged that they are friends.
For me that person was Kirk Friedel.
But after today, I'm proud to say I can call Kirkel my friend.
What boosted our friendship to the next level?
He walked past me in the Sharwan Smith Student Center and tapped me on the shoulder as he went past.
Sure you may think that is insignificant, but to me it was a symbol of friendship.
