Am I loving my life right now? Yeah.
Let me share a few reasons why.
Last night I went to a kayak clinic. In the SUU pool.
Thank you kayak club for being so awesome.
I woke up this morning feeling like I got beat with a wiffle bat.
I can't imagine what it would feel like after kayaking some real rapids.

After kayaking I played tennis. Because I play tennis every Wednesday.
Was I out of my kayak at 8:15 then changed and on the tennis court by 8:30? Yeah.
Tennis is so good.
I've been playing every week for the whole summer and now into the fall.
Have I improved? Yeah.
I get complimented on my skills all the time now.
Practice really does pay off.

Last night pre-kayaking I saw my latest crush on the rock climbing wall.
What a treat.
I love how fit & active my fellow students are. It's inspiring.

This morning in class we learned about imaginary audiences.
As in, people go through their day thinking that people are always watching them, but typically nobody is.
I say typically because I observe people all the time who clearly have no imaginary audience, or even an awareness of a real one.
These are my favorite people on campus.

One last experience to share. This one I'm nervous to post on the internet.
I'm right handed though.
[right handed = brave]
I rekindled an old crush yesterday.
When, you ask? When he pinned me up against the wall in a dark hallway in the student center .
It was one of those in the heat of the moment opportunities.
A chance run in, nobody around, sexual tension.
Of course I "squirmed" away like the scared girl that I am.

You really are way brave. The fact that you posted this on the WWW makes me feel less awkward about that awkward thing i said last night.
ReplyDeleteKayaking and tennis were way good.
And i'm probably the biggest observer, my favorite thing to do.
love this. someday I will need to hear the last story. hahah just pounce. If you need inspiration, watch the copy room scene from 500 days of Summer... awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis post is absolutely fabulous in every way. And I agree. Someday you will be a tennis player/rock climber/more hip and hang out with men like this.
ReplyDeleteI would like more coverage of Tuesday Creepin'.
