Well this Irish experience has now come full circle back to Dublin.
I attempted to get a video of riding in the car, but this doesn't do it justice.
Seconds after I stopped recording this video we turned a sharp corner and had to SLAM our brakes on for a huge truck that was stopped waiting for some sheep to cross the road.
All of my timing was terrible trying to video scary European roads so I gave up.
But just know, driving through Ireland was a riot.
Once we safely arrived back in Dublin we hopped on a bus from the hotel and headed to the City Center.
As we roamed the streets once more we came across a group of street musicians.
I was thoroughly impressed.
They call themselves Keywest.
There was a huge crowd around them and the cutest little boy in a viking hat dancing to their music.
Here is a short video clip:
And here are a couple of longer ones:
I bought the CD and met the band after. It was great.
I took a picture with this guy because he looks like my friend Seth.
Didn't notice until afterwards that we were wearing twinner shirts.
Sort of awkward...
My friend Crissy flew over from England for a couple of days to see Dublin.
Here we are on one of the many bridges above the River Liffey.
We indulged ourselves in some Polish food. I thought most of it was pretty gross, except the plate of dumplings.
Then we had a delicious pastry.
It washed the nasty Polish food taste right out of my mouth.
This one is called a Neopolitan and it was divine.
The rest of that day we just wandered around the city some more, taking pictures, buying souvenirs, eating treats, the usual. Here are a couple of videos from exciting events that afternoon.
That guy was killing it on the saxophone.
Remember St. Stephen's Green the first time I went...
Well there were about 3,000 more people there the second time I went...
The weather was way more sunny and the amount of people outside increased significantly.
Crissy & I checked out Dublin Castle.
It wasn't like a lot of the other castles I saw throughout the country.
Nothing compared to Blarney.
Nice for an afternoon sit though.
To finish our day we tried on some leprechaun hats.
And lucky us, right after that we saw a real leprechaun.
Hahaha!
The next day it was only Crissy & I adventuring around the city. We hopped on a bus the opposite direction of the city and took a random strangers suggestion to visit a city called Swords.
The bus led us to a giant shopping mall.
We got all sorts of great European things.
I fell in love with a store called Penneys.
It was real great.
Then off to the airport to head to London!!
