May 9, 2013

Hello, hello.

So I still have one hour to e-mail and it goes by really fast. Yes, I receive lots of e-mails from other people, but I love it. Unfortunately I don't have time to write everyone back very much, but I do my best.

Oh so my big news of the week is that I am training!!! I went to  João Pessoa to get my new companion this week. She is so wonderful. I seriously loved her from the first moment they told me I would train, before I even met her. She is from São Paulo and looks super American so sometimes I accidentally speak English to her. She is 19 and super excited to be a missionary. I feel like the Lord really trusts me so it helps me to trust myself. Seriously, the Lord hears all my prayers and answers them really perfectly. I am super excited. Nervous sometimes, but mostly excited. The other 2 sisters that lived with us left and their area is now ours also, so we have a HUGE area. I don't even know where we are going to begin, but it is fine because that just means more people to find and baptize. Follow the Spirit, right?

Man, I am seriously so happy. Happier than I have felt my whole mission. I have a lot of hope for this transfer and I feel like God is really at my side. We see miracles everyday. I got to know lots of other missionaries this week and I am seriously amazed at how amazing people are. Everyone has a story, and every missionary has an inspiring one. I met 2 missionaries from Paraguay, both said that they remember Elder Spencer passing through their ward, but I knew like no details about Max's mission and I don't have a photo so the conversation was kind of a dud. Ask Max the areas he served in for me, will you?

I'm pretty sure I will stay in the Natal mission because training lasts 2 transfers, but nothing is for sure until after the next transfer.

I learned how to make Pineapple pavé. It is super super delicious. You would love it. I will make it when I get home.

I love you all!! Until Sunday!!!

I'll send pictures Monday!
