Bom dia! (Good morning!)
I loved skyping with you as well.
Those pictures of dad at the tabernacle are really
good. Super funny. Seeing church
things in Salt Lake is the dream of so many members here. We're super
blessed to live in Salt Lake.
The talks in our ward were super good yesterday.
It was the bishopric who spoke and they were very well done. One about
how we need to reflect on the year, repent and make 2014 better than
2013. Another about faith and he told the story of Namaan in the Bible
which I really love. And the bishop spoke about the Atonement and how
much power it can have in our lives, but it depends on us. Our bishop
here in Natal is super good. Seriously the more I get to know him, the
more respect I have for him. He's great, his wife Luciana is as well.
They really showed a lot of love to us this Christmas.
Can't
believe how much Chad's mission is growing (One of the last transfers had 6 missionaries leaving and 40 arrived). It's growing here too, but
mostly the number of sisters. I'm the only one leaving and there are 10
arriving. Everyone keeps joking that it's because it takes 10
missionaries to fill my shoes. ha ha. If only that were really the case.
I sure do have goals for 2014. I have a whole list already of goals post-mission.
Keep praying for me that I can endure to the end and keep working hard and having energy and being excited!!
Love you!!
Sister Udy
