CONGRATULATIONS CHAD!!! Woo!! High school graduate!!!
The gospel should be applied, not just heard. In stake conference last week the stake president said something that has caught fire, not just with the members but with all the missionaries in our zone too. He gave the example of a bacon and egg sandwich and how the chicken just participates by laying an egg, but the pig has to give everything even his life. He invited everyone to be pigs in the gospel and to really give our all in our callings and how we live instead of just participating on Sundays and heading back home. I thought of what dad said about the Same Ten People. I was studying today about unity and how the people of God should be united, but pride is what gets in the way. Thinking that other things are more important than God's will. I have been trying to be more of a pig and less of a chicken with the work we are doing here in our area. Numbers with substance instead of just reaching our goals. God is really blessing this ward since the members started helping more!

We had a baptism yesterday!!! A 12 year old girl named Stephany. She is the daughter of a member, but lives with her grandma who is super Catholic. It was fun to teach her. She is super sweet and will be such a great addition to the young women in this ward.

I got a cold and it was horrible to open my mouth wide, but I got a blessing and took some medicine and I am doing much better.
We are going to have a sweet ward activity this week so hopefully our investigators will come.
Everything is going well. Next week is transfers, but I am pretty positive I will stay here with Sister Cabral because training is only halfway through. We most likely will get another set of sisters in the house with us though! I don't know if it will be a good thing or a difficult thing. We'll see!
The pictures are some random art we found while we were out proselyting in the middle of nowhere this week.

Love you all!

Sister Udy
