Hello!

I watched the devotional yesterday, I LOVED it. Seriously, such a treat. For sure our ward is going to catch fire with missionary work. They are already pretty awesome, but after that everyone will just improve.

My new address is:

Natal Brazil Mission
Rua Interventor Mario 2066

We don't have transfer meetings (like Emerson), they just call us and let us know who is going where and everyone travels to their new area. It would be sweet to get together with all the missionaries every transfer, but the logistics are just too much I think. I'm dying to see the transfer map to see what other missionaries are going to be in this mission with me. The new president will get here this week. It is actually Presidente Soares, I think I might have said the other one last week. My bad. I probably won't meet him until the first week of July though.

The new sisters in our apartment are good. One is learning Portuguese still because she passed her first transfer in the US waiting for her visa. It makes me feel really good when everyone in the house asks me to translate because I remember when I was in her position struggling and not understanding anything. Everyone says that one day it will be better and now I am at that point when I am encouraging her telling her not to stress out because it will get better. So far so good with the 4 of us though. The members are happy to have another pair in the ward.

This week was the baptism of Bruno. He is SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! Seriously I love him so much, I wish you could all meet him. You would love him too. He is 14 and we started teaching his mom because she is the neighbor of a member, but the mom has diabetes and doesn't leave the house because she has a problem with her leg and doesn't walk. She got a bacteria or something and almost lost her leg, but by some miracle it is healing. Anyways, she didn't accept the gospel, but her son Bruno did. He is such a rock star. Teaching him was seriously the highlight of my days this week. He asks the funniest questions. He was so so so happy on the day of his baptism. Smiling from ear to ear. The baptism was after church, then about 4:30 we run into him doing visits with the Young Men's President. How cool is that?? Oh and he was in a white shirt and tie!!!! So adorable. Funny too because he had bermuda shorts and flip flops with it because he doesn't have any dress pants. He said he wants to ask his mom to buy some for him though so he can go to church in Sunday dress. Other happy moment was that my recent convert Rosemberg came to church in a white shirt and tie for the first time yesterday! It is so sweet to see people continuing to progress.

Festa Junina was this week too. There was a stake activity, but it rained that night so it got kind of ruined and we had to leave before the dancing started. Oh well. Someday I will come back and visit and see all the touristy stuff here in Mossoró.

Things are going great here. I am excited about all the changes in the next couple of weeks. I love you lots and miss you!
