HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD!!! I thought of you on the 21st!

I wish the ward here was getting as excited as Emerson's seems to be. Maybe he could send me some tips. We are trying, but you know how hard it is for old dogs to learn new tricks.

 

I only get letters once a month. When the zone leaders go to zone council and they bring them back. Thanks for being consistent mom, at least I know I can always count on a letter from you! Grandma Udy always writes me too!

This week was zone conference. It was interesting. Pres. Soares is really different from Pres. Hall and it is starting to show more and more now that he has gotten the routine of things. He wants us to increase our faith and baptize more and work harder and see miracles. Of course I want that too, but I think I am more of a realist. Everything he was saying I was thinking of real life situations that go very differently. For sure God can make miracles happen and I need to believe more in that.

Thanks for everyone who e-mails me and prays for me. I feel so grateful to have so much support at home. Sometimes I feel sort of invisible as a missionary here and it is good to remember that there are people who really love me.
